Drivers delayed as Fishbourne level crossing stuck down

The level crossing at Fishbourne is currently stuck down, police have reported.

Drivers have reported gridlock around the west side of Chichester this morning (October 14).

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was unaware of any accidents, but a spokeswoman from Sussex Police said the level crossing barriers in Salthill Road were stuck.

She said Network Rail was aware of the incident. No one from the company was available to comment.
