When the duke, then the Earl of Arundel, married Georgina Gore at Arundel Cathedral in 1987, David Frost and Lady Carina were among the guests, along with Princess Diana.

Sir David’s career took him from secretary of Cambridge Footlights to presenter for Al-Jazeera, via interviews with celebrities and politicians including disgraced US President Richard Nixon and Margaret Thatcher.
