Police were called to a house in Kipling Avenue, at 2pm on Friday, after a neighbour disturbed two intruders. Two people were arrested nearby a short time later.

DC Jon Woolley, from the West Sussex Priority Crime Team, said: “There has been a spate of burglaries in the Goring area recently. We would ask for members of the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious people and vehicles. We are also asking residents in Goring to check their gardens for any discarded clothing and jewellery which may have been stolen.”
