Dyamond Dance celebrates five years with sell-out show

DYAMOND Dance celebrated five years of trading with two sell-out performances of it's annual show on April 10th.

The show, which was held at the Phoenix Arts Centre at William Parker school, was performed entirely by one hundred and seventy members from the popular local dance company based in Wickham Avenue.

The director of Dyamond Dance, Chloella Gunn, said the show was a great success and included a wide range of different dances performed by children, adults and her troupe of professional dancers who perform all over the UK.

The performances encompassed all disciplines of dancing, including street dance, hip-hop, tap, ballet, and funky jazz. Chloella said: "The show will live in my memory forever. It was a fantastic way to celebrate five years of Dyamond Dance. We're so very proud of every Dyamond that took part."

Children from the Stage school, aged five-sixteen, along with presenting the performances throughout the show also performed a range of songs.
