Early morning St Leonards public bin fire

A public bin fire in St Leonards in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday, February 23) was put out by firefighters.

One East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service pump from Bohemia Road was sent to Silchester Road after reports of a bin fire at around 4.40am.

On arrival crews used one hose reel to extinguish a small fire in a public bin.

Firefighters left the scene at 4.50am.
