PRESERVATION SOCIETY: The next walk will be on Sunday at 2pm and will an exploration of the historic and vibrant Vert Wood a Community Woodland. The walk will start half way along Park Lane (off the A22 at the Landrover dealership), where Vert Lane crosses. Everyone welcome there will by mud so please be suitably prepared. You are also invited to a talk, Sussex During the First Wold War in East Hoathly Village Hall on Friday February 10 at 7.30pm. Using period photographs to look at aspects of daily life in frontline Sussex - a county within earshot of the Western Front. A time when the county became a warfare supply depot and a reception centre for the wounded. Admission is free to members and guests are very welcome for £4 per person.
