East Preston bonfire creates dangerous driving conditions

SMOKE covering the A259 yesterday (Wednesday, May 13) was caused by a bonfire.

Fire crews went to Russells Close, East Preston, at about 3.30pm, where the fire was raging in a garden.

A spokeswoman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue said that while no specific traffic problems had arisen, the crews acting as a precaution, and put out the fire.
