Eastbourne flat flooded with ankle-deep sewage
Firefighters were sent to deal with ankle-deep sewage which had flooded into a town centre flat on Monday afternoon (January 14).
Crews were called to the basement flat in Pevensey Road at about 4.15pm, said East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS).
Southern Water was contacted to attend and the incident was left with the resident and water company, said ESFRS.
