It’s being given by Lucette Davies at Christchurch, Seaside, on Wednesday (March 8) from 7-9pm. All are welcome to attend.

Lucette, who is Secretary of the Eastbourne People’s Assembly, said, “Nobody can deny that there is a crisis in the NHS right now, with four out of five hospitals now being told they must improve on patient safety. My presentation will give a summary of the political changes that have taken place to cause this crisis.

“There are many popular myths surrounding the politics of our NHS. These myths prevent people from campaigning for a better healthcare system for all. My presentation will aim to leave people with a more positive view, and show that this current crisis is not unavoidable.

“As somebody who has campaigned in Eastbourne town centre on the NHS numerous times I am well aware of how strongly our community feels about the NHS. I hope that many of those people who care about our healthcare system will come along to this presentation.”
