Eastbourne library will re-open today after closure

Eastbourne Central Library will open today (Monday) after being closed for a week due to a water leak effecting the building's electrical system.

Library customers were last week advised to use alternative facilities after a leak from a drainage pipe closed the library on Friday (April 8).

Residents were encouraged to use the libraries at Langney, Hampden Park and Willingdon, where the opening hours were extended while repair works were underway.
