Greg Draven, a Druid and member of Eastbourne’s Pentacle Drummers was in “court” as his friend and film maker Marq English tried to sue him for £249 towards a new video camera.

Mr English claimed that when Mr Draven fixed a marquee, which was buckling under the weight of rain during filming some years ago, his video camera had been water damaged and he had been soaked.

Mr Draven, who appeared on the show in his trademark kilt, said he had been trying to help and protect video equipment under the marquee and that it had been an accident.

Judge Rinder dismissed the case against Mr Draven saying Mr English had failed to prove his friend had been negligent.

The reality court show stars criminal barrister Robert Rinder as the judge, who oversees a variety of cases, such as disputes over basic consumer issues, business/personal/neighbourhood disputes, and allegations of negligence.

The hearings are conducted in a mock-up of a small claims courtroom.
