The rescue dog - a one-year-old Chihuahua cross called Dixie - went missing from Beatty Road in the late afternoon of April 13. She had just arrived by car to the home of Margo Smith, her new owner. Margo said Dixie panicked while leaving the car and slipped her collar.

According to Margo, Dixie ran off and was seen later that day running along Prince William Parade. She was clipped by a car but continued running. Last night she was seen in Benbow Avenue.

Margo said, “Clearly as this was a new home. Dixie is not bonded to anybody or anywhere in Eastbourne her scent is not anywhere so she is clearly extremely traumatised and needs our help to find her.”
