FUN FOR the whole family is promised at Easter at Newhaven Fort, including a quiz trail to hunt out hidden bunnies.
The ‘special hops’ quiz trail for younger visitors is taking place from April 1 to 15.
Using the quiz sheets given on entry, children will be guided to areas in the Fort to hunt, find and count the hidden Easter bunnies.
If you go on Monday April 2, Punch and Judy make an appearance at 12.30pm, 2pm and 3.30pm, with face painting available between shows.
Back by popular demand, Zoolab will be returning on April 5 and 13, with Springtime Creature Encounters at 1.30pm and 2.30pm.
There are also a number of exciting Easter children’s craft workshops to enjoy on the April 10 at 12.30pm, 2pm and 3pm.
These must be booked in advance by calling 01273 517622.
On Sunday April 15 the Sussex British Motorcycle Owners Club return to Newhaven Fort for their annual charity fundraising rally, with a spectacular gathering of classic motorbikes, including Sunbeam, BSA, Norton and Triumph.
These run alongside the many permanent displays and interesting things to do at Newhaven Fort, as well as the on-site café and gift shop.
The fort combines a Victorian fort, dating from the 1860s, with a Sussex military museum.
Opening times are 10.30am to 6pm (last entry 5pm). Contact 01273 517622 or visit www.newhavenfort.org.uk.
