Easter tennis camp for youngsters run by Hailsham Tennis Club

HAILSHAM Tennis Club is running an Easter tennis camp during the school holidays to help youngsters new to the game or those who want to brush up on their skills.

The sessions run in the first week of the holiday from Monday April 11 to Friday April 15 at the club in Western Road.

There will be hour-long sessions for kids aged seven and under starting at 9am and from 10am the older children have a runabout that lasts until 1pm.

The clubs are run by the club’s coaches Sean Yates and Rupert Green and will cater for all ability groups – they will even lend kids a racket if they need one.

Sean said: “The course will cover all the strokes as well as lots of playing and fun tennis games to develop coordination, speed and agility. We’ll have a great time, and it is a healthy, safe way to get outdoors and enjoy yourself during the holidays.”

For the younger children the cost is £4 per day or £18 for the week and the older kids’ course costs £12 per day or £50 for the whole week.

Those interested in attending should contact Sean Yates on 07739 689158.
