Top marks for Sussex Downs College in student satisfaction survey

Sussex Downs College is ranked the highest FE College in the south in the National Higher Education Student Survey results out this week.

The National Student Survey ranks universities and colleges from across the UK by student satisfaction.

Sussex Downs College was one of the highest rated FE colleges – the highest in the south – with 93 per cent student satisfaction.

This statistic puts the college 16th in the UK. Overall, the survey recorded an all-time high, with 86 per cent of students satisfied.

The survey asked final-year students about every aspect of their learning experience, from academic support to standard of teaching.

One hundred and sixty si Further Education colleges, 156 Higher Education institutions and three private institutions responded; 321,000 students in total.

Ranking 16th in the UK – or joint 10th if you look at percentages – is a fantastic achievement. Our specialist HE teachers always strive to make students’ experience with us the very best, and this result is clear evidence of their hard work and commitment.”
