"Eggstra" smile for Easter at Sidley

A SIDLEY funeral director is giving local youngsters an "eggstra" smile by collecting Easter eggs for Parent Scope.

Mummery Funeral Directors in Ninfield Road is urging members of the local community to donate Easter eggs to the appeal.

Easter eggs can be handed to staff at the branch until Thursday, March 20. These will be donated to Parent Scope who will distribute the eggs between the children in time for Easter.

Funeral arranger Jackie Herring said: "As a local business, we wanted to help and support children within the community who, for whatever reason, may need a bit of extra cheer this Easter."

The collection of Easter eggs will be presented to Parent Scope of Sidley Community Centre on Thursday, March 20.
