Eggstraordinary generosity for children’s appeal in Burgess Hill

William Collins & Son, of Station Road, Burgess Hill, hosted the appeal for the children under the care of the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Brighton.

Staff and volunteers from the charity Rockinghorse, which have been helping William Collins & Son with this appeal, have delivered the eggs to the hospital.

Funeral director, Janek Lewandowski, pictured with colleague Jane Sharpe, Rockinghorse campaigns manager, Louise Bartha, and Rockinghorse volunteer Jackie Tindley, said: “We would like to thank the local community, as well as Waitrose, Tescos, Burgess Hill Town Council and St. John’s Church for their support and generosity in helping us to support Rockinghorse and all the valuable work they do.”

Louise added: “Rockinghorse would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has donated to the William Collins Easter Egg Appeal. We are also very grateful to William Collins for co-ordinating the collection which we delivered to the patients at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital over the Easter holidays.”
