Elderly lady freed from stairlift
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house in Rock Lane in Westfield on Monday following reports an 83-year-old woman had got stuck on a stairlift.
The crew from The Ridge freed the woman just before 10.30pm.
An East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We went and helped her out, made her a cup of tea, made sure she was OK and left.”
