Elderly lady has home robbed while shopping
AN elderly Guestling woman returned from an hour long trip to the shops to find her home had been ransacked.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the burglary at a property in Friars Hill, Guestling, which took between noon and 1pm on Wednesday May 2.
A police spokesman said: “When she returned she found that her home had been broken into and an untidy search had been made. However, it seems the owner disturbed the intruder and nothing was stolen.
