Elderly man found dead in Bognor park
An elderly man was found dead on a park bench in Bognor Regis yesterday afternoon, police have confirmed.
Police said emergency services were called to Marine Park Gardens at 4.49pm where the man, in his 70s, had been found by a member of the public.
A police spokesman said: “He was declared dead at the scene. There are no suspicious circumstances and the matter has been referred to the coroner’s officer.”
