Electrical fire in car
A WOMAN'S car engine caught fire as she was driving her children to school.
The driver pulled over near the shops in Fernside Avenue after she noticed smoke coming out of her VW Polo.
Firefighters from Bohemia arrived at the scene at just after 9am on Monday and put out the fire, which was believed to be electrical.
The engine and wiring had melted but the blaze was contained to the inside of the bonnet.
