England Hockey team presented with school pendant before World Cup warm-up match
The Buckswood Hockey tour in Holland took an extra special turn this week as the players met up with the England Hockey team as they make their final preparations for the Hockey World Cup which starts next week.
The England team were presented with the Guestling School’s banner signed by the touring team, by Buckswood Captain Fletcher Kipps, before the world cup warm-up game against New Zealand in the Hague.
Head of Sport and leader of the tour, Wayne Callaghan said “the boys were thrilled with the opportunity to meet the team and get some hockey tips from the pros. I’m sure they will draw inspiration from this experience and apply it to their games in the future
