Participants enjoyed complimentary Christmas punch and a mince pie upon their return to the Stade Open Space and there were prizes for the best sleighs and best dressed runners presented by Hastings Mayor Bruce Dowling, who was on hand to give encouragement.

Princess Elsa, from Disney’s Frozen, and Spiderman also put in an appearance, posing for pictures with children.
