Entertaining day withprofessional storyteller

Lucky pupils from Storrington Primary School in West Sussex were treated to an afternoon of professional storytelling arranged by local housebuilder David Wilson Homes to celebrate National Storytelling Week.

As part of David Wilson Homes’ ongoing educational programme the pupils were entertained by professional storyteller Peter Optical.

Lynnette St Quintin, sales and marketing director at David Wilson Homes, said: “We were delighted to support National Storytelling Week yet again. We actively promote local learning experiences such as these and were delighted to arrange Peter’s visit for the school.”

Marion Smith, head teacher from Storrington Primary School, added: “The children loved the session. Storytelling allows young people’s imaginations to run wild and it has been a real treat for our pupils who listened intently to Peter’s story.

“Our thanks go to David Wilson Homes for organising the activity.”
