Application submitted for Partridge Green solar farm

Last month, the County Times reported how Hadstone Energy Ltd, in partnership with farmer and land owner John Ford, were aiming to develop the land at Priors Byne Farm, Bines Road, into a solar farm.

The application has been listed as ‘temporary change of use from agriculture to a solar farm with continued agriculture and associated infrastructure’.

The company hosted an exhibition at Partridge Green Village Hall in December, with the aim of answering questions the public may have about the proposed development.

Project manager Emma Siddons said: “It has a very low visual impact and that is why we like this site.”
