Chichester fire: Photos show large blaze at Westhampnett tip

Firefighters remain at the scene of a large fire at the Household Waste Recycling Site at Westhampnett near Chichester.

Four crews were called to the scene at 6pm today. A spokesman said the fire involved around 200 tonnes of recycling. Crews remained at the scene at 8pm tackling the blaze. Nearby residents were warned to keep their doors and windows closed. Read more here.
