Country Life by Richard Williamson

Travel through the Arun valley by train and you will see the finest landscape in the world, small scale. No mountains, as through the Americas, no vast plains as in Mongolia, no desert dawns as in Jordan or endless olive groves in SPain- all of which free the restless spirit in their way.

But however many times I have traversed the Chichester-Victoria line via Pulborough, there is always that sense of small excitement at the back of the mind, knowing that I am travelling the Arun way.
