He is in the next yard with all the young bulls (the bull that is, not John) so the cows can sense he is there, but not see or get close to him.

The plan is he goes back in with the cows when all the heard is turned out. But that is not for a month or so yet.

As a result it is driving all those cows who have calved 'mad a bulling'. They have come back into season and want serving, Only they are not getting the opportunity as John does not want next year's calving to be as early as we have had it this year.
