Plumpton Pavilion bid given planning permission

The new Plumpton Pavilion and Play Park project has taken a big step forward, with planning approval being granted for an all-new purpose-built facility on the village’s King George V Playing Field.

The single storey sports facility includes two halls, changing rooms and a bar all in a state of the art, environmentally sound design.

This exciting project is to replace the existing pavilion and play park, both of which are in desperate need of repair and modernisation.

Much work remains, not least to raise and secure the bulk of the funding for the Plumpton Parish Council-led project which has already reached more than £30,000 in the short time since its inception.

There is a family fun day on the playing fields on Sunday, June 30, where visitors can view the plans, have a great day out and see how they can help.
