Everybody wanted to se the fly orchids during the West Dean Woods Open Day. They were growing on the side of the path, inches away from all the feet, and so here they are to remind you.
These orchids are extremely difficult to see until you get your eye in, then the little purple flowers hanging on the stalk jump out of the surrounding grass into your consciousness and you see another, and another ten feet away.
