Eastbourne’s Western Lawns have been transformed this week to thank the NHS.

On Thursday (May 7) contractors from Southern Land Services used a robotic white line painting machine to draw love hearts and write the words Thank You NHS From Eastbourne.

The idea was the brainchild of Southern Land Service boss John Hesse, who lives in Eastbourne, and was agreed by Eastbourne council bosses.
