Etchingham

SPEEDWATCH SURVEY: Most of you will be aware that the Etchingham Speedwatch group has now been operating for nearly two years, having been set up in December 2013 and the first session taking place in January 2014.

This article contains affiliate links. We may earn a small commission on items purchased through this article, but that does not affect our editorial judgement.

Soon after the group started a small online survey was carried out to gather residents views on traffic speeds through the village and the operation of Speedwatch.

We are well aware that there are a wide range of views regarding Speedwatch, so we would now like to gather the views and comments of village residents now that the group is well established, this will show us if views have changed over the two years and help us with organisation and future planning.

We want as many people as possible to respond to the survey to give as wide a range of opinion as possible, we want all your comments both positive and negative. The survey does not collect your name or contact details, so you can remain anonymous, you can however include your email address if you want to be contacted about your responses.

There is a link to the survey on the village website www.etchinghamvillage.co.uk , you will find the link near the top of the Home Page.

Please feel free to pass on the link to the survey to anyone you know who might like to see it, you do not have to be an Etchingham resident to participate, if someone from another area regularly drives through the village and wants to comment we will welcome their views.

The survey is set to close on 10th January to enable a report to be prepared for the January Parish Council meeting, when the results have been collated we will be able to supply a PDF copy of the results to anyone who wants to see the results.

If you are interested in taking part in the survey but do not have a computer, ask a friend or relative if they will help you fill it in on their computer, but ask them first if they have done the survey, because you can only complete the survey once on the same computer.

If you have any problems accessing or completing the survey, email [email protected]
