EuroMillions jackpot winner comes forward

A ticket-holder who scooped a £93,388,943 in the EuroMillions jackpot has come forward to claim their prize.

Ranking sixth on the National Lottery rich list, the winner could receive their money as early as Monday, Camelot said.

It remains a mystery who the lucky winner is and they can choose to remain anonymous if they wish.

Yesterday’s jackpot was the biggest win in the UK so far this year.

The ticket matched the five main numbers - 5, 8, 10, 11 and 37 - plus the two Lucky Star numbers - 7 and 9 - picked for last night’s draw.

The top prize had not been won since May 26.

A National Lottery spokeswoman said: “We’re delighted Friday’s ticket-holder has come forward to claim this truly life changing prize.

“The win ranks sixth biggest on the National Lottery rich list and is the third EuroMillions jackpot to be won here in the UK this year.”
