This exciting new venture is in addition to St Catherine’s 15 existing charity shops across Sussex and Surrey.

St Catherine’s is one of Hayward’s Heath local hospice providers so why not pay St Catherine’s House and Home Store a visit, shake up your home decor and support a local hospice at the same time?

Your everyday purchase of a dining set, armchair or sideboard could make a real difference to terminally ill local people’s lives.

Located at Unit 17, Denvale Trade Park, Crawley, the new store is the perfect place to browse for popular items like pine furniture, dining sets and three piece suites and to snap up something special to help your home stand out from the rest.

Peter Walsh, Furniture Shop and Warehouse Manager at St Catherine’s, said: “It’s really exciting to introduce our first House and Home store.

“ We’ve already received plenty of quality furniture donations and the warehouse is full of pieces arranged in room settings so you can easily imagine how something might look in your home.

“We’re looking forward to continuing to receive donations of high quality furniture and home ware from people across our Sussex and Surrey catchment area and offer a free collection service to make it easy for anyone donating.”

Denvale Trade Park, on Haslett Avenue East, is easily accessible for customers being close to Crawley and Three Bridges rail stations, Crawley bus station and town centre and offering customers ample onsite parking.

All profits from the House and Home store will help St Catherine’s to continue to provide their vital care services.

With less than a third of their funding coming from the NHS, the hospice relies on the generosity and support of people in the community to help them continue to care for local people needing support. 80 per cent of the hospice’s care is provided in people’s own homes including in Hayward’s Heath, in their specialist Inpatient Unit in Crawley and through Day Hospice sessions in Crawley and Caterham which help patients live well through offering a variety of wellbeing activities.
