Exhibition will show new homes

David Wilson Homes is staging an exhibition next week about its proposals to develop Brooks Nursery on Barnham Road.

The display will be in Eastergate Parish Hall, Barnham Road, from 1.30pm to 7pm on Tuesday (September 11).

The nursery site is within the area earmarked by Arun District Council for some 2,000 homes to be built between next year and 2028.

Neighbouring resident Ken Holmes said: “This looks like the first stage of the development of the whole wide area, which is obviously not a very popular idea around here.”

David Wilson Homes told residents the exhibition would provide information and enable them to give their views before a planning application is submitted.
