Extra bedrooms for Angmering hotel in Arun planning list

THE owners of an Angmering hotel have submitted plans for a new building providing five additional bedrooms.

The Chapman Group’s proposals are for the Angmering Manor Hotel in High Street, on a site affecting the village conservation area.

Elsewhere in the village, plans by a playgroup for a new building have been approved by officers under delegated powers.

This week’s plans submitted to Arun District Council in the Gazette area includes:

ANGMERING: construction of building comprising five additional bedrooms (re-submission following A/30/13). This application affects the appearance and character of the Angmering conservation area, Angmering Manor, High Street.

Two storey side extension, 60 Mill Road Avenue.

ARUNDEL: removal of external timber stairs, retention of balcony and associated works. This application affects the appearance and character of the Arundel conservation area, Fitzalan Cottage, 10b Mount Pleasant.

Balcony extension on rear elevation (re-submission following AB/43/13/). This application affects the character and appearance of the Arundel conservation area, 19A River Road.
