ADUR youngsters spent Friday afternoon messing around on the river as part of an Extreme activity week.

Adur Youth Service has been running three Extreme weeks, including a residential sailing trip at Cobnor for teenagers.

On Friday, youngsters built two rafts at the Adur Outdoor Activity Centre and rowed them up the River Adur.

Simon Edwards, from Adur Youth Service, said: Basically, we gave them six wooden poles, lots of rope, four barrels and then showed them how to put the craft together.
