Families flock to hear music in Bognor Regis

Visitors from far and wide descended on a family fun day held in a Bognor Regis park.

The ROX in the Park family fun day, which was held in Hotham Park earlier this month, attracted more than 3000 people and is expected to raise more than £1,000 for the Rox Music and Arts charity.

One of the organisers, Eleanor Wells, said: “It was a great day involving performances on the bandstand from local acts, arts and craft stalls as well as a bouncy caste, fire engine, a visit from the Easter bunny and a craft tent, keeping lots of young children entertained.

“The ROX in the Park team would like to thank the local community and everyone involved in the event for all their support.”

The day was created and planned by seven third-year event management degree course students from the University of Chichester, who worked with the Rox Music and Arts Organisation to help raise awareness and funds for the work the charity does.
