Gemma Gabler, manager, said: “This rounded off our theme for this half term, helping the children learn about their senses.

“The children enjoyed walking around the farm, learning about all the different fruits and vegetables that they grow. The children tasted some of the fruits that where still growing on the farm – blackberries, raspberry and blueberries – straight from the plants.

“They then each chose what pumpkins they wanted to buy and paid at the till with their own money, learning many different skills as well as having a great visit.”

Stedham Squirrels is a charity-run pre-school. A quiz night is being held on Friday, November 6, at Stedham Sports Pavilion at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 adults, £3 children, including food and a drink. Contact Kirsty on 07956546114 for tickets.
