Felpham school pupils wise up to owl Lottie

Lottie the owl made herself at home at a Felpham school.

She spotted a suitable perch in one of Downview Primary School's classrooms and decided to survey the area from there.

It took a lot of coaxing to persuade her to move. The sight of Lottie in flight '“ however brief '“ was a memorable one for the reception class children she was meeting.

The visit by Lottie and her friends was a magical experience for them to see these wild animals in close-up as they watched and learnt about them as part of their feathers and fur topic.
