A spokeswoman for West Sussex highways department said they have been urging people to leave early and leave plenty of time to make their way in.

She added: ‘We do always encourage people to allow more time for their journeys and to expect delays, particularly around the Chichester area.’

There are diversions in place around the estate for the four-day event.
