Fete to boost lights cash

Seafront lights in Bognor Regis will benefit from the latest annual garden fete being held on Sunday (June 22).

The event has become a firm favourite since 1998 and has always taken place at Chestnut in Ellasdale Road. The fun occurs between 2pm and 5pm.

All the popular attractions will be there, including the chance to win a family day ticket to Butlins in the grand raffle and plant, cake and produce stalls, tombola, and side shows. Morrisons has again donated scones for cream teas.

All proceeds from the event go towards running the 101 coloured displays that brighten up the seafront from Hotham Park to West Park between mid-April and the end of September.
