Fight outside Worthing McDonalds leads to two arrests

The two men, who police said are known to each other, remained in custody this morning.
Both sustained minor injuries, with one taken to hospital, following the fight which broke out at around 7pm on Friday, December 4, on Liverpool Street.

Hide AdA spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: “Police received a report at around 7pm on Friday, December 4, that two people had been involved in a fight at McDonalds in Liverpool Street, Worthing.


“A fight broke out between two men, who are known to each other.
“One man was taken to hospital for treatment for a minor injury.
“The other had a minor injuries but did not require treatment.
“Both men were arrested.

“A 36-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of affray and a 26-year-old man from Brighton was arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent, using threatening, abusive words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress, and obstructing a police officer.
“They both remain in custody this morning.”
