Final chance for Littlehampton funding

COMMUNITY groups in the Littlehampton area have little over a week to register for the latest round of county council funding before a final meeting to decide where the cash goes, is held.

Members of the Joint Eastern Arun Area Committee (JEAAC) will be meeting on Tuesday, September 18, to agree which groups will benefit from this year’s community initiative funding.

The committee will be meeting at the John de Bohun Room, in the Woodland Centre, Woodlands Avenue, Rustington, at 7pm – where they will also receive an update from Sussex Police on community policing issues in the eastern Arun area.

Graham Tyler, JEAAC chairman, said this meeting was an ideal way to speak to your local councillors.

Residents will also have the opportunity to raise any local issues or concerns they have during our ‘talk with us’ item,” he said.
