Final plans go in for 140 homes site in Littlehampton

DETAILED plans for the final stage of the 600-homes Kingley Gate development at Courtwick, Littlehampton, have been submitted to Arun District Council.

Bellway, one of the new estate’s two developers, already had outline planning approval for the 140 homes in this phase, and has now sent in the remaining details.

The proposals are among the latest list of Arun planning applications in the Gazette area, which also include:

ANGMERING: change of use from agricultural to play school activity/play area and provision of security fence and field drain (this is a departure from the development plan), William Older Playgroup, Arundel Road.

ARUNDEL: reinstate boundary railings and gates (this application affects the character and appearance of the Arundel conservation area and the setting of a listed building), Arundel Cathedral, London Road/King Street.

EAST PRESTON: single-storey rear extension and extension to conservatory, 27 Vermont Drive.

LITTLEHAMPTON: single-storey and two-storey rear extensions, 19 Beaumont Park.

RUSTINGTON: part pitched/part flat roof over side extension, in place of previously approved flat roof (re-submission following application R/92/14/HH), 3 Central Avenue.

WALBERTON: demolish garage and workshops and build six three-bedroom dwellings, alterations to access, parking and incidental sheds for cycle storage (this application affects the character and appearance of the Walberton village conservation area), Turnpike Motors, The Street (re-submission, following application WA/21/14/PL).
