Findon residents’ views wanted for new plan

FINDON Parish Council has been awarded £20,000 to undertake a consultation on a new Neighbourhood Plan.

The council is seeking the views of Findon residents on future development policies ranging from the protection of historic buildings, the environment, housing, transport and infrastructure, and the development of facilities including leisure, youth and open spaces.

The Parish Council is inviting all residents, businesses and community groups to help draw up the new plan for the village’s future.

Councillor Peter Kirk, chairman of the Findon Village Design Statement Steering Committee, said: “The more community views we have, the more weight will be given to the policies we intend to draft, which will help to maintain the parish of Findon as the community wants it to be.”
