Fine for man drunk in Littlehampton town centre

A DRUNKEN man needed hospital treatment after attempts to resist arrest led him to smash his head open yesterday (Thursday, April 8).

Ben Johnson, 22 of Norfolk Road, Littlehampton, needed stitches when he fell and hit his head on a lamp post, as police were try to arrest him in High Street, Littlehampton, at about 4.15pm.

He was taken to St Richards Hospital, and later given a fixed penalty notice and fined 80 for being drunk and disorderly.
