Fire at Bognor nursing home

Part of a ground floor bathroom at a nursing home in Middleton was destroyed after a fire broke out early this morning.

Fire crews were called to the home in Byeway just past 5am.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said that it had been an electrical fire and had been classed as accidental.

A special fan was used to help ventilate the area.
