Two crews from Horsham and one crew from Crawley attended the blaze in Hurst Road at around 12.30pm.

A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to a fire on the roof of the generator house located at the back of the hospital.

They added a hose reel and a thermal imaging camera were used to tackle the blaze and firefighters are treating the incident as accidental.
