Fire at Horsham playground

Firefighters were called to a fire at a Horsham playground yesterday evening (September 2).

The incident, in Hills Farm Lane, was reported to West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service at around 11.35pm.

A spokesperson for the fire service said a crew from Horsham was called to deal with a small fire in a pile of rubbish inside the playground.

They added the flames were extinguished within ten minutes.
